Solid Hardware and Simple Installation
I recently installed this three-piece rod set in our kitchen bay window, which is a bit of a departure from the standard straight rods I usually deal with. The packaging made the assembly order obvious because the pieces that fit together were grouped together, although I still read the clear directions just to be safe. Because I had wood behind every bracket, I didn't need the included drywall anchors, but the kit was generous enough to include an extra wall screw and three extra set screws.The installation took about 45 minutes, mostly because I was being a perfectionist to ensure everything was level. I found that leveling the three different surfaces manually was actually easier and faster than setting up my laser level. The process involves attaching keystone-shaped parts to the wall that the hooks then slide over, which results in no screws being visible when you are finished. The hardware feels almost over-engineered because the end pieces are heavy and the corner pieces and hooks are very solid. I used the included hex wrench to fasten the three extendable rods into the corner pieces to lock everything into place.The price seems a bit steep, although the entire kit feels like very high quality once it is in your hands. My only disappointment was that the antique bronze color on the rods is a bit lighter than the other antique bronze fixtures we use extensively in our home. The end caps are much closer to the color I expected, but once the whole unit was mounted on the wall, the set still looks great. Now that I have done my part, I can crack open a beer and pretend this was a much more difficult task while I leave the truly hard part—finding the curtains—to my wife.

Strong, excellent quality curtain rod
The 1 1/8 inch corner curtain rod is excellent quality. There were no burs or sharp edges anywhere on the unit. It was light to hold up while it was being installed, but sturdy and well made at the same time. It looks updated and modern. Everything needed for the installation was present in the box, except for screwdrivers and such.The installation presented a challenge with my window set-up. There is no space directly above the windows where I could attach a curtain rod, these windows go to up to the ceiling. There wasn't enough space in the corners between the windows for 2 curtain rod holders (they would run into each other), so I could only put 1 curtain rod holder at each corner. I installed 4 curtain rod holders altogether. To make sure the curtain rod would hold up with only 4 curtain rod holders, I installed very light curtains that didn't put much weight on the unit. I feel the curtain rod could hold very heavy curtains if installed with all of the hardware provided, so this review is only a reflection of my window layout and personal experience.The current price of the curtain rod at $113 is very reasonable for the quality of the item.
